hell breaks loose

im really having a hard time with my current monitor display. the menu keeps on appearing. i don't know why.

i did some researching and found several factors why it is happening. sadly - im to lazy to find ways to solve it.

this is my current display - HP mx705 17" CRT











if worse comes to worst i am going to replace that with this
